Backcountry Mold is a Colorado-focused service built around one idea: homeowners shouldn't have to figure out which kind of mold professional they need on their own.
Our story
Backcountry Mold was created to serve the Colorado Front Range foothills and mountain communities — from Colorado Springs north through Woodland Park, Pine, Bailey, Conifer, and Evergreen. We saw property owners struggling to figure out whether they needed an inspection, testing, remediation, or a moisture investigation, and then struggling to find a professional they could trust.
We don't personally perform remediation work. Instead, we focus on what we do well: understanding your situation, screening providers, and connecting you with a qualified professional whose services actually fit. We believe transparency about that role is itself a form of trust.
Colorado mountain homes have their own character — crawl spaces, basements, older construction, snow and ice dams, and drainage challenges that flatland homes don't face. We built this service around that local knowledge.
